Yesterday was fun. We went to the Zoo. I was just going to be me and Nora. I didn't think that sounded like it would be fun at all. I asked to bring Dayana with us. I would have asked for Jasmine, too, but she's crazy and I knew the zoo was really far. I didn't know if I wanted to try to handle her haha. Dayana came with us. We had a good time. We bought ice cream from a vender who stuck their hands through a the holes in a the chain link fence surrounding the park haha. I forgot to tell y'all that Lima is the worlds ugliest city. Ever. No wonder I don't see any tourist. It. Is. Ugly. But it is huge and exciting still. Every inch that is possible is covered in spray paint. Everywhere. It is crazy. Okay, back to the zoo. The animales were so alive and active. I have never seen anything like that in Texas. I think Texas is just too got for the animals. These animales here were interacting like crazy with the people!!!!! It was so cool!! I was feeding this one goat at one point. It had big horns. And. It. Was. Mean. It was scary haha. After the Zoo we came home and played games. We play tons of games with Dayana. She loves games. We play them everytime she is here. I'm not complaining though. I always have fun. Then later I went to the Rotary meeting. I had been practicing a speech all day about what I was to say in the meeting. I basically just had to introduce myself and tell where I was from and stuff. I have never been afraid to speak in front of people in my life. I guess I should have prayed first because it was a disaster. I got up there and was so nervous and didn't remember to say anything. I just froze. It was crazy. I was so sad to make such a horrible first impression on everyone. Luckily one of the exchange students just started clapping so everyone in the room did. Then I could sit back down. It was a disaster. I was so sad. Then the meeting ended and I was glad to get to eat dinner in hopes to make myself feel better haha. BUT. THE DINNER WAS HORRIBLE. Food in Perú is always good. Not this time. Luckily my host mom gave me a big hug and said it was okay. We laughed about it. She also ate my nasty dinner and didn't make me eat it. She said it had too much lemon in it. She said she will make it sometime at our house the right way. Diana and Sergio were there too. And their parents. I love being with them. I get along very well with Sergio even though it is hard to communicate. I also met all the other exchange students. I was glad to speak English with them. I like them. They are all very nice. The rotary meeting is so far from my house. Some of the kids wanted to hang out after the meeting but I knew it would be so hard to get home that late, and so far away. They wanted to go to a bar anyways. So I wouldn't have gone anyways. Jasmine just came into the house. She always gives me big hugs and throws her arms around me and says "te quiero mucho, rebekah!!" I gotta go because she is starting to talk my ear off. Hahaha.

They had a ball pit like I haven't seen since I was a little kid.
